Its flattering and its heartfelt when foreigners cares about other cultures. Philippines is colonised by Spain for 333 years and they bring the religion christianism. Many people died because of how they treat Filipinos before as alipin in their own land. Even its the case, Filipinos still proud of getting a little bit of Spanish culture which was preserved for many years from their history.

Before, back in the 80s and backwards, Philippines educational system has Spanish subject. But the succeeding government removed Spanish subject for an absurd reason that Spanish is “insignificant” already since we’re no longer colony of Spain. BUT THEY’RE WRONG! Now, as time goes by and people grow to learn more things, having more than 1 or 2 language is a must and beneficial! And it is such a dismay that they remove that subject! 😫
